Project Overview

When TCI Manufacturing set out to reintroduce their brand to the market with a bold new visual identity, they knew their website had to follow suit. Their previous site had grown outdated—both in its appearance and in its functionality. It lacked a clear organizational structure, making it difficult for users to quickly find the information they needed about TCI’s extensive product line and services. It was time for a full overhaul.

Discovery & Definition

We began the project by diving into the Discovery and Definition phase. Through collaborative meetings and strategic workshops with the TCI team, we gained a clear understanding of their goals, audience, and the types of content that needed to be prioritized. It was essential that the new site not only looked modern, but also reflected TCI’s leadership in the manufacturing industry—while being easy to navigate and manage internally.

Site Architecture & Wireframing

Next, we turned those insights into action by developing a new site architecture and wireframes. These planning tools allowed us to reorganize the site structure into logical, user-friendly pathways. The goal was to ensure that visitors—whether customers, partners, or job seekers—could easily find the right information in just a few clicks. Wireframes provided a visual layout of key pages and content sections, setting the foundation for a seamless design and development process.

Custom Website Design

Once the blueprint was approved, RDC crafted a custom website design that brought TCI’s new branding to life. We created a bold, modern look with clean lines, intuitive navigation, and strong imagery that showcased TCI’s work and capabilities. The design also included strategic calls to action, product highlights, and space for testimonials—building both credibility and conversion potential.

Development & Collaboration

With the design in place, RDC moved into the development phase. The site was built within a dedicated development environment, allowing for staged progress and regular review checkpoints. This iterative approach ensured that TCI could see how the project was evolving in real-time, provide feedback along the way, and feel confident at each milestone.

We developed the website in WordPress, providing TCI with a user-friendly content management system that their internal team could easily update without requiring technical expertise. WordPress also positioned the site for strong SEO performance, thanks to its flexibility, plugin ecosystem, and alignment with Google’s best practices.

Final Review & Launch

Once the build was complete and thoroughly tested, RDC coordinated with TCI to plan a smooth and strategic go-live launch. We scheduled deployment to minimize disruption, ensured all redirects and technical configurations were in place, and made the transition from old site to new as seamless as possible.

The Result

The final product is a sleek, modern website that captures the strength and innovation of TCI Manufacturing. It showcases their capabilities, highlights their impact in the industry, and provides a solid foundation for future growth. With a clean design, intuitive navigation, and powerful backend tools, the new site is built to serve both their customers and their internal team for years to come.

The Design Process
RDC Design Group took a strategic, research-driven approach to the M5 Supply logo design, beginning with an in-depth intake and creative brief. This phase was critical in uncovering key aspects of M5’s identity, including:

  • Who They Are – Understanding M5 Supply’s mission, values, and what sets them apart in the competitive packaging industry.
  • Target Audience – Identifying their customer base, from small businesses to large-scale manufacturers, and ensuring the brand appeals to the right market.
  • Brand Personality & Values – Exploring the essence of M5 Supply, including qualities like reliability, efficiency, innovation, and customer-centric solutions.
  • Design Preferences – Gathering input on stylistic direction, color psychology, typography preferences, and brand positioning to ensure the final logo would align with their vision.

The Final Logo
After multiple design iterations, refinements, and feedback sessions, the final logo emerged as a perfect representation of M5 Supply’s brand. The design encapsulates their modern approach to packaging solutions, conveying strength, reliability, and innovation.

The M5 team was thrilled with the final result, expressing excitement and confidence in their new visual identity. The logo now serves as the foundation for their future branding efforts, including their website, marketing collateral, and overall company image.

Project: 3D Drum Kit Rendering for Mixwave – Mario Duplantier Signature Kit

RDC Design Group had the exciting opportunity to collaborate with Mixwave to create high-quality 3D renderings for their drum software, featuring the signature drum kit of Mario Duplantier, drummer of the renowned metal band Gojira.

Our team meticulously modeled and rendered Mario’s drum kit to exact specifications, ensuring every detail—from the shells to the hardware—matched the real-world counterpart. The project also required multiple variations of the kit, including alternate cymbals and snares, providing flexibility for Mixwave’s software users.

To bring the kit to life, we placed it within a stunning lifestyle render, featuring a glass apartment with an oceanfront view, adding an immersive and visually striking backdrop. Additionally, we animated the kick pedals for added realism and supplied alpha channels for each individual drum, enabling Mixwave to integrate seamless user interaction within their software.

This project showcased our expertise in high-fidelity modeling, rendering, and animation, delivering a premium digital representation of one of metal’s most iconic drum kits.

Project Overview

RDC Design Group partnered with Keen Ovens, a trusted name in industrial welding rod and flux oven manufacturing, to create a visually robust set of 3D product renderings. The objective was to develop a detailed collection of visuals that accurately represented Keen’s lineup, emphasizing both the heavy-duty build and operational simplicity their products are known for.

Our team produced a series of high-resolution renderings showing the ovens from multiple viewpoints—including front, side, and angled perspectives—as well as in both open and closed configurations. This comprehensive approach provided end users and potential buyers with a clear sense of the product’s structure, capacity, and access mechanisms.

We gave particular attention to the control panel design, which plays a central role in day-to-day functionality. Using precise texturing, lighting, and material rendering, we showcased the panel’s layout, including buttons and indicator lights, to convey both its usability and durability.

All 3D modeling and rendering were completed using 3ds Max paired with V-Ray, enabling us to deliver highly realistic surfaces and finishes. Subtle detailing—such as metal reflections, venting patterns, and surface transitions—helped us create visuals that strike a balance between industrial toughness and clean, professional presentation.

These visuals are now being used in Keen’s product catalogs, online listings, and internal reference materials. The end result is a polished, unified asset library that supports their sales, marketing, and customer education initiatives—strengthening the Keen Ovens brand across all platforms.

Project Description

N-GAGE GRIPS is revolutionizing the fitness world with their high-performance workout grips. Designed to wrap around a barbell, their grips reduce joint stress, improve lifting form, and help users perform more reps—leading to better workouts and bigger arms. To match their innovative products, they needed equally impactful visuals to represent their brand across digital and traditional marketing platforms.

N-GAGE GRIPS partnered with RDC with a clear goal in mind—transitioning from traditional product photography to photorealistic 3D renderings.

By leveraging 3D product rendering, RDC was able to highlight product features and bring out the ergonomic design, precise contours, and material differences between their EZ and PRO models.

As always, our goal was to provide 3D renderings that gave the products the same tactile, lifelike feel as traditional photographs.

With 3D product rendering, we delivered visual assets suitable for e-commerce, social media, and print campaigns, all while keeping production scalable and cost-effective.

Ultimately, RDC produced 3D renderings that were vibrant, dynamic imagery that reflected N-GAGE GRIPS as a leader in fitness innovation.

Our first step was constructing detailed 3D models of both the EZ and PRO workout grips. Each model was built to scale, ensuring accurate proportions and representation when juxtaposed. Our texturing process emphasized the differences in material textures, focusing on the matte silicone surfaces for lifelike detail. Life-like reflections, highlights, and micro-details brought the grips to life, vividly showcasing their premium build quality.

We developed a versatile collection of 3D renderings that included clean, minimalist views showing both the front and back details of the grips, perfect for e-commerce listings, artistic compositions of the grips arranged creatively for high-impact marketing imagery, and dynamic barbell scenes that show how the EZ and PRO sizes fit and look on the barbell from various angles.

By employing photorealistic 3D rendering, N-GAGE GRIPS now has a digital library of assets that can be effortlessly updated. Whether launching new colorways, showcasing accessories, or creating seasonal campaigns, these files turned what was once a costly photoshoot into an efficient, scalable process.

N-GAGE GRIPS’ team was thrilled with the photorealism, versatility, and creative execution of the project. They are now using the renderings across all online sales platforms and traditional marketing initiatives, seeing stronger customer engagement and alignment with their high-quality fitness offerings.

Project Description

RDC Design Group was tasked with creating highly detailed and photorealistic 3D renders of the premium Peter James Leather laptops, incorporating unique leather finishes on both the shell and lid. Using CAD models and technical diagrams as a foundation, our team meticulously crafted a series of product renderings that showcased the laptop in various luxurious leather color options.

The primary objectives of the project included converting CAD files into high-fidelity 3D models with precision, applying photorealistic leather textures to the laptop’s shell, lid, and mouse, and developing color variations to offer a wide range of aesthetic choices. To achieve an ultra-detailed and true-to-life finish, the team used 3ds Max and V-Ray, allowing for hyper-realistic rendering that highlighted every nuance of the materials.

Several challenges emerged throughout the project. One of the most critical was accurately capturing the texture, sheen, and tactile qualities of premium leather, all while maintaining the sleek integrity of the laptop’s design. Achieving realistic lighting and reflections on the varied leather finishes and metal surfaces required fine-tuned control of scene lighting. Integrating the leather elements into the device’s form had to be done in a way that preserved the clean, modern look of the product without appearing artificial or forced.

The entire rendering process was driven by expert use of 3ds Max for modeling and refinement, V-Ray for producing ultra-realistic lighting and surface detail, and advanced material mapping to replicate the complex behavior of leather under different lighting conditions.

In the end, the final visuals exceeded the client’s expectations. The renders delivered a stunning, lifelike representation of the laptop in multiple leather finishes, enhancing its premium appeal and providing a powerful marketing tool for the client. The seamless integration of luxury materials and the exceptional level of detail reaffirmed RDC Design Group’s commitment to top-tier 3D visualization and product storytelling.

Our team worked with MixWave to deliver a highly detailed 3D rendering of the iconic Fender 5e3 Deluxe amp and cab, customized with MixWave’s branding. This project required a perfect blend of technical precision and artistic finesse to replicate the amp’s vintage aesthetic while maintaining photorealistic quality.

Project Objectives:

  • Recreate a Classic: Render the Fender 5e3 Deluxe amplifier and cabinet with an authentic, aged appearance reminiscent of its original 1970s design.
  • Custom Branding: Incorporate MixWave’s unique branding into the model seamlessly without losing the retro feel.
  • Interactive Animation: Animate the functional components, including the power light, switches, and knobs, ensuring flawless integration with the music plugin’s user interface.

Key Challenges:

  1. Aged Textures and Materials: Capturing the weathered, vintage look of the amp required meticulous attention to detail. Every scratch, scuff, and texture needed to evoke decades of use.
  2. Photorealism: Achieving a hyper-realistic finish using 3ds Max and V-Ray, ensuring the renders could stand up to close scrutiny.

Project Description

Lenny & Larry’s, known for their plant-based, protein-packed treats, partnered with RDC Design Group to create high-quality marketing visuals for their Complete Cremes®—a deliciously crunchy, plant-based sandwich cookie.

The Challenge
Lenny & Larry’s needed visually striking product images that accurately represented their Complete Cremes® packaging and display setup. These images would be used for marketing, e-commerce, and promotional materials, ensuring customers could see exactly how the product arrives and is displayed in stores.

The Solution
RDC Design Group worked from reference images of the physical product along with provided brand assets to build high-fidelity 3D renderings of the Complete Cremes® packaging, including the cookie sleeves.  In addition, the display caddies that hold 12 cookie sleeves were also modeled and textured to showcase both the open and closed positions.

For this particular product, the Complete Cremes® come in both chocolate and vanilla.  All views for each variety were created for a seamless user experience when viewing the different flavors of the Complete Cremes® cookies.

Using photorealistic 3D techniques, RDC ensured that every element—from packaging textures to branding details—was true to the product’s real-life counterpart.

The Final Deliverables
The final set of beauty shots showcased the cookie sleeves from multiple angles as well as the caddie in both open and closed states to highlight the product’s display and shipping presentation.

These high-quality renderings allow Lenny & Larry’s to market their product with consistency and clarity, providing customers and retailers with an accurate visual representation of how the product will look on store shelves.

The Impact
With these photorealistic marketing images, Lenny & Larry’s can effectively promote Complete Cremes® across digital and print platforms, reinforcing their brand’s premium look and feel.

Project Description

RDC Design Group is proud to showcase this latest 3D rendering project that was completed for MixWave and their Jay Weinberg artist. RDC worked directly with the artist and MixWave to meticulously craft a 3D lifestyle rendering of Slipknot’s Jay Weinberg drum kit. The 3D rendering enhances the MixWave plugin graphics and user experience for their dedicated users. This drum kit render serves as a visual platform to highlight Jay Weinberg’s unique drums giving the user the flexibility to swap out alternate snares, drums, cymbals, and kick pedals.

The entire process, from modeling to look-dev, was expertly executed using 3Ds Max and V-Ray, ensuring high-quality and realistic results. Z-Brush was utilized for sculpting the drummer’s masks and then they were integrated back into 3Ds Max for the final render.

To add an extra touch of creativity, a charming dog was included in post-production using Photoshop, creating a visually engaging and relatable scene that resonates with the drummer’s enthusiasts.

In addition to creating the 3D visuals for the Jay Weinberg artist drum kit, RDC also created the user interface controls in 3D. This is what the users leverage in the MixWave UI to alter all the settings while working within the Weinberg plugin and giving it the finishing touch that sets MixWave apart from the rest of the audio plugin world.
